Demand for Telephones and Fax Machines Increasing in China
BEIJING, August 22, AsiaInfo Services, Inc -- The number of
Chinese telephone customers this year is estimated to rise 17
percent over 1995, to 35 million.
The country sells 30 million phones annually.
Demand for fax machines is estimated to reach 250,000 this
year, up 25 percent over 1995.
