(The Daily Universe) (U-WIRE) PROVO, Utah -- The financial aid office at Brigham Young University is encouraging students to only take the amount of money to meet their needs and nothing more.

One BYU student planned on taking out more money than just covering her tuition, but after a one-on-one talk with an adviser, she decided against it.

"I think it's a good idea for advisers to tell students to take out the least amount of money," said Camille Funk, a senior from Pasadena, Calif., majoring in elementary education.
