NEW YORK, May 31 - There is this sportswriter, who shall go unnamed, who vowed to pick
Greg Norman to win The Masters until he won it. This sportswriter was certain Norman would
someday slip his big shoulders into that green jacket and the clouds would part and a
chorus of angels would sing and every rotten thing that had ever happened to the Shark
would be forgotten.
Norman says he remains committed to the game. This sports writer finally gave up, finally
conceded that even Sharks eventually lose their bite. It's time. Greg Norman is 45 years
