(Daily Texan) (U-WIRE) AUSTIN, Texas -- With high expectations, sometimes come disappointments.
In the NCAA outdoor championships, the Texas women's track team has a chance to regain its past level of success following a somewhat disappointing regular season, at least by their standards.
The women entered the NCAA meet in Durham, N.C. ranked fourth in the country --- the first time in four years they are not the favorite entering competition. Preliminary events began Wednesday, with the meet concluding Saturday evening.
