Fed: Regional women more likely to be domestic violence victims

CANBERRA, June 8 AAP - Women in regional Australia are more likely to be the victims
of domestic violence than city-dwellers, a new report showed today.
The federal government's Rural Domestic Violence Program has released a report reviewing
the latest literature and studies on domestic violence.
The report draws together for the first time national and international research on
domestic violence in regional areas.
"It shows that a greater proportion of people living in regional Australia are victims
of domestic violence compared to people living in urban Australia," ...
