Blue Jays 8, Expos 3
TORONTO (AP) -- Tony Batista hit a grand slam and Carlos Delgado hit a tiebreaking RBI single in the eighth inning as the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Montreal Expos 8-3 Sunday.
The Blue Jays took two of three from the Expos and improved to 11-5 against their Canadian rival.
After Guillermo Mota (0-1) walked Homer Bush and allowed a single to Raul Mondesi, reliever David Moraga made major league debut.
Moraga, promoted from Double-A Harrisburg on Saturday, gave up the single to Delgado. Bush slid home just ahead of right fielder Vladimir Guerrero's throw to the plate.
