NEAL CONAN, Host: If the unexpected yet long-lived success of the
TV situation comedy Cheers demonstrated anything, it was that a show
doesn't have to be about much of anything to do well. CBS's new series
The Building has taken a cue from the folks at Cheers, bringing together
its own cast of interesting, lovable apartment tenants. Set in Chicago,
just a hop away from Wrigley Field, it follows the never-dull life
of Bonnie, played by Bonnie Hunt, who in this scene has just returned
to The Building from the altar, unmarried.
