SUSAN STAMBERG, Host: Finally this week a farewell to Edda Van Hemstra Hepburn Rustin [sp]. As Audrey Hepburn, she graced movie screens like old-style royalty, all elegance and style. Ms. Hepburn died of colon cancer in Switzerland. She was 63.

People who knew her said that, with Audrey Hepburn, what you saw was what you got. She was the way she looked - regal, beautiful, elfin, serene. She was that way in 26 films, including Sabrina, Funny Face, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Charade.

Roman Holiday was her first American film in 1953. It made her a star and won her an Oscar. In it, she was an AWOL princess who tells journalist Gregory Peck she's on holiday ...
