KATIE DAVIS, Host: One day Edmund McIlhenny was puttering around with
the red peppers in his garden on Avery Island, Louisiana. He crushed
them, added some salt and then bottled it. That famous sauce that
Mr. McIlhenny makes, also known as Tabasco sauce, arrived in grocery
stores 125 years ago. To celebrate, McIlhenny's great, great grandson,
Paul, who still makes the sauce, has put together The Tabasco Cookbook.
In it, he reveals the family recipe for the pepper sauce but Paul
McIlhenny says, there's an art to putting it together just right.
