NOAH ADAMS, Host: There is a mutiny underway at the New York Post.
Today's edition includes an eight-page attack by the newspaper staff
against the latest tentative buyer of the paper, Abraham Hirschfeld.
Peter Calico, the paper's current owner is trying to rid himself
of the Post, which filed for bankruptcy protection yesterday, after
failing to publish on Monday. Hirschfeld, a real estate investor,
took over operation of the Post two weeks ago. While details of
the sale continue to be negotiated legally, on Friday he fired the
editor, Pete Hamill, along with a score of other people. Hamill,
however, remains at the helm, and the renegade staff plans ...
