ROBERT SIEGEL, Host: Dennis Ryerson is the editorial page editor of
The Des Moines Register. He says people still face three more weeks
without drinking water, but by now, they're used to some inconveniences.
DENNIS RYERSON, `The Des Moines Register': No baths, no showers,
no water to wash dishes with. No waters [sic] to really clean the
house with.
SIEGEL: Well, all this would certainly tax the patience and sense
of humor of- of most people, but-
