STEVENS, Butler of Darlington Hall: I'm sorry, Sir, but I do have
something to convey to you rather urgently, sir, and if I may be permitted
I'll come straight to the point. Perhaps you will have noticed this
morning, sir, the ducks and the geese by the pond.
YOUNG ENGLISH LORD: Ducks and geese- no I didn't Stevens.
STEVENS: Well perhaps the birds and the flowers, then or the shrubs
and the bees.
YOUNG ENGLISH LORD: No, I've not seen any bees.
STEVENS: Yes. Well, this is in fact not the best time of the year
to see them ...
