LIANE HANSEN, Host: [music] Composer, guitarist, and rock star Frank
Zappa, who died of prostate cancer last weekend, most likely will
be remembered for his satirical lyrics and scatological wit. Without
much prompting, fans will recite verbatim lines from Don't Eat the
Yellow Snow, Dental Floss, or Call Any Vegetable. Within Zappa fandom,
it might be considered blasphemous, but Weekend Edition director
Ned Wharton has a confession to make.
NED WHARTON, Reporter: I never much cared for his lyrics. Well,
all right, maybe I did chuckle at a few things. I guess I have to
