Studying Climate
How might earth's climate change in the future? One way to find out is to look for different clues about how the climate behaved in the past. One of the most intriguing topics is a possible fast global warming trend caused by human activity. Such a fast warming of the planet would cause much environmental change.
Paleobiologists, scientists who study the history of living things on earth, have found some evidence of past warming trends. Studying these past warmings could give scientists insight into how a future warming might affect ecosystems.
