Natural resources are the riches provided by nature, such as water, soil, forests, wildlife, and minerals. Water is a major natural resource of all nations. Many scientists say that the air should also be considered a natural resource. Oxygen in the air is necessary for human and animal life, and carbon dioxide in the air is necessary for plant life.
