Achebe's Techniques And Style

An author's Style is his characteristic manner of expression. There are
many elements that combine to create an author's style, but style is basically
determined by one thing: the writer's purpose. In speaking of a novelist's
purpose, one includes not only the theme that the novelist is trying to
express but also the effect that he wishes to impose upon his audience in
relation to his theme.
