1. What are some of the major ways in which Aeschylus' plays reflect
Athenian social beliefs?

Answer: The Athenians achieved a union of civilized life and political
liberty, and believed that service and responsibility to the polis, or
city-state, was of utmost importance to the making of a good citizen. On the
other hand, they also believed that it was the responsibility of the polis to
