BILL RITTER, Host: A different kind of accident, this one now with a more tragic ending. As you heard in the news, a pickup truck accident near Detroit that killed 11 people, nine of them children, has this morning raised serious questions about laws regarding pickups. In Tuesday's crash, the worst single road accident in Michigan history, eight children were riding in the truck's cargo bed. And while Michigan actually has a law regarding pickup trucks, 27 states have no such laws on the books. For some answers, joining me now from Washington is Dr. Ricardo Martinez.
