The Armenian Evangelical Church: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow.
In his sixteenth book, Rev. Tootikian writes on a subject he is very much at home with, the church he has been serving for thirty-seven years. As a minister, scholar and educator, he presents particulars that even and Armenian Evangelical would not know without reading such a book. The narrative begins with the statement that the Armenian Church was established in Istanbul n July 1, 1846. On November 17, 1850, Sultan Abdul Mejid granted it formal recognition, resulting in a permanent breach between the Armenian Apostolic Church and the Armenian Evangelical Church.
