HSS Holds Instructors' Training Camp.

The Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) conducted its first seven-day camp to train instructors in organizing Hindus "to serve the society."

The Instructors Training Camp (ITC), held in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, starting June 29, was along the lines of similar exercises conducted by its counterpart in India, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), organizers said.

They said special focus was given during the camp to young Hindus growing up in the United States to help them understand their heritage and to inculcate in them a sense of pride as Hindus.

In all, 55 participants came from all over the U.S. and Canada. ...
