NEW YORK - Yeshiva University Museum is pleased to present EBREI PIEMONTESI: THE JEWS OF PIEDMONT. The exhibition examines the Piedmont region of Northern Italy, comprised of the Duch of Savoy, the Marquisate Saluzzo, and the municipalities of Asti, Chieri, Cuneo and Alessandria. This geographical area has been home to a distinct Jewish community since the 15th century, following the expulsions of Jews from France in 1306, 1332 and 1394.
