A newspaper in Bucharest reports that electronic sensors are being placed in the seats of Rumanian senators to make sure they are actually there when the they vote. Only with the weight of the senator firmly on the censor will computerized voting work. The experiment is being tried following complaints that some politicians were giving their electronic voting cards to colleagues to vote in their absence. You're listening to NPR's Morning Edition.
