BOB EDWARDS, Host: Good morning. I'm Bob Edwards. The prosperous
British colony of Hong Kong reverts to Chinese sovereignty on July
1, 1997, and China has announced plans to install a 33 foot-high electronic
clock counting down the days and hours. It'll be on the border, pointed
at Hong Kong, thus says a Chinese news agency, `spontaneously igniting
a sacred and solemn sense of the territorial integrity of the motherland.'
