ALEX CHADWICK, Host: Joining us now from Western Springs, Illinois,
is Steve Woodward. He's the Olympics sports reporter for USA Today.
[interviewing] Good morning, Steve.
STEVE WOODWARD, Sports Reporter, `USA Today': [on telephone] Good
morning.
CHADWICK: Tonya Harding pleading there for a chance from the U.S.
Olympic Committee. At this point the committee says it's prepared
to take any action it deems appropriate regarding her. Just exactly
what does that mean?
Mr. WOODWARD: Well, I think the idea there is to leave us wondering
what it means. You'll note that that statement yesterday actually
said that they're prepared to take any action ...
