In Britain today, thousands purchased ad space in British newspapers to send valentine messages, but their true loves may not be able to read those ads. A magazine survey indicates more than 60 percent of British cat owners would rather curl up with their pet cats than with their human partners. Half of those interviewed said their cats were better looking. One in four British households has a cat. You're listening to NPR's Morning Edition.
