BOB EDWARDS, Host: Filmmaker Oliver Stone has written and directed
two highly successful movies about the Vietnam War and its aftermath.
One was Platoon; the other, Born on the Fourth of July. In both
films, Stone depicted the war from the American point of view. His
latest movie, Heaven and Earth, sees the same period through the eyes
of a Vietnamese peasant woman, a perspective that Hollywood has neglected.
