LINDA WERTHEIMER, Host: In a few weeks, The Citadel will either be
ordered to admit a woman or be allowed to keep her out. U.S. district
court Judge Westin Houck will be ruling on a suit filed by a young
woman who wants to attend The Citadel. The judge must decide if The
Citadel's mission to educate and train men and only men at public
expense supersedes a woman's 14th Amendment right to equal protection
under the law.
