hour of NPR's All Things Considered.

WERTHEIMER: India has been struggling to produce the food its people
need, and has been remarkably successful bringing about its green
revolution. But India's population has continued to grow and another
breakthrough will be needed or there will be shortages and famine
again by the end of the decade.
