NOAH ADAMS, Host: Fans of the guitar and of the macabre are in for
a double treat this evening. The creatures that inhabit the brain
of Gary Larsen will make their television debut in the program Tales
From the Far Side on CBS, and backing them up, the guitar work of
Bill Frisell. He has been a consistent top vote getter in Downbeat
Magazine's Critics and Readers Polls. He's worked with the likes
of Ginger Baker, and Marianne Faithfull, and tonight, he moves on
to really angry sheep. From member station KUOW in Seattle, Marcie
Sillman profiles the composer and guitarist.
