BOB EDWARDS, Host: Tonight, Pittsburgh hosts baseball's glitziest
exhibition, the 65th Annual All-Star game, but amid the fanfare there'
s trouble on the local baseball scene. The problem surfaced several
years ago when the Pittsburgh Pirates released superstars Bobby Bonilla
and Barry Bonds because their salary demands were so high. Now the
Pirates' financial crisis has become so bad, some wonder whether the
team has a future in Pittsburgh. George Saverese prepared this report.
