ROBERT SIEGEL, Host: Bob Marley, the international reggae star, whose
musical influence is still powerful, died 14 years ago of brain cancer.
Had he lived Marley would have been 50 years old today. In Jamaica,
today has been declared `Bob Marley Day.' In other parts of the
world, concerts and festivals to honor Marley have been planned for
later this spring. Several tribute albums will also be released.
Writer Daisann McLane has visited the Bob Marley Museum in Kingston,
Jamaica, and has this remembrance.
