Population and Family Planning
China is a populous country with over one billion people. Its
population
growth rate has a decisive influence on the development of world population.
Since the 1970s, China has practised the policy of family planning,
which has
further regulated the size and quality of the population, adapting
its
population growth steadily to the development of its economy and other
