FEINGOLD, KOHL WIN FIGHT FOR STUDY OF EFFECT OF NORTHEAST DAIRY COMPACT ON MIDWEST MILK PRODUCERS

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U,S. Senators Russ Feingold and Herb Kohl joined the Senators from Minnesota in sponsoring an amendment to the Agriculture Appropriations Bill that requires the Secretary of Agriculture to study the impact of the Northeast Dairy Compact on dairy farmers outside of the Compact area, consumers, and on vital low-income nutrition programs,
