Mr. Chairman, Members on both sides of the aisle talk a lot about doing away with Washington perks. This is a chance to do something about a totally unjustifiable benefit.

The Floor of the House of Representatives is owned by the American people and entrusted to our care so that the elected Representatives of the people have a place do the people's business and represent the people's views through debate, negotiation, and legislation. No other use could be defended to the American public.
