CONGRESSMAN JOHN LEWIS REJECTS PARTISAN ETHICS REFORM RESOLUTION

WASHINGTON, D.C.---U.S. Congressman John Lewis (D-5th) District of Georgia) voted against the ethics reform legislation (H.Res.168) considered by the House of Representatives today. Congressman Lewis maintained that several amendments adopted by the House, in violation of legislation agreed to by the Bipartisan Task Force on Ethics Reform, undermine the integrity of the ethics process.
