Senator Smith Signs On To End the Current Tax Code
Cosponsors the "Tax Code Termination Act"
(WASHINGTON, D.C.) -- Senator Bob Smith of New Hampshire
today announced he has signed on as a sponsor of the "Tax Code Termination
Art" to sunset the existing Internal Revenue Code by the year 2001.
"It is time the people of New Hampshire and the rest of the
country zip the current tax code out by its roots and replace it with
a
fairer, simpler system," Smith said.
