ON THE FAA'S EFFORTS TO CLOSE AND CONSOLIDATE FLIGHT SERVICE STATIONS AND TO CONSIDER H.R. 1454, WHICH WOULD PROHIBIT THE FAA FROM CLOSING CERTAIN FLIGHT SERVICE STATIONS.

Good morning Mr. Chairman, Members of the Committee. I am here as Mayor of the City of Eureka, California to emphasize to you the importance of retaining the F.A.. Flight Service personnel at the Arcata/Eureka Airport.
