A recent survey by the Hirschfeld Group says retail tenants pay $500
asquare foot for space on New York's Fifth Avenue, the highest rate
in the world. The president of the real estate advisory firm explains.
BOB EDWARDS, Host: Good morning, I'm Bob Edwards. The night desk
clerk at the Budget Host Motel in Longmont, Colorado, says a would-
be robber, armed with a knife, was shaking like a leaf when he demanded
all the money in the till. The clerk says the man took $157 and walked
toward the door. Then he turned around and said it wasn't worth it.
He gave back the money, he apologized, and then ran out the door.
