Hillary Clinton has become the first spouse of a sitting president
to appear before a grand jury. She spoke with reporters regarding
her testimony regarding Whitewater and some documents recently discovered.
SCOTT SIMON, Host: Attorney and author Hillary Rodham Clinton says
she was glad to have the opportunity to tell a grand jury what she
knows. Yesterday Mrs. Clinton became the first spouse of a sitting
president to testify before a grand jury. She was subpoenaed by the
Whitewater independent counsel. Mrs. Clinton told reporters most
of the questions concerned billing records recently discovered at
the White House. NPR's Jon Greenberg reports.
