Outdoor clothing maker Patagonia takes a green approach to doing business.
Its switch to using only organically-grown cotton in its products
will cause a price inscrease, a hike it hopes its customers will pay.
BOB EDWARDS, Host: This is Morning Edition; I'm Bob Edwards. Over
the last few years, an increasing number of businesses have identified
themselves or their products as environmentally friendly. A leader
among the many so-called green companies is the Patagonia Company
of Ventura, California. Patagonia makes rugged outdoor clothing.
Paul Gallagher reports that the company is making an effort to change
the way green companies do business.
