Tom Shales reviews Oliver Stone's "Nixon". He says it's a good Christmas
movie because it's the Scrooge story in reverse - Nixon starts out
believing and then along the way loses faith.
BOB EDWARDS, Host: Oliver Stone has written and directed a series
of movies about America. Born on the Fourth of July, The Doors,
and JFK, focused on different aspects of American culture during the
'60s, from the anti-war movement, rock music, to political intrigue.
JFK, based on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, was
criticized by many who thought Stone sacrificed historical accuracy
for dramatic effect.
