Danish zoologists have identified a new microscopic animal which lives
on the mouth parts of lobsters. It may be sufficiently unique to
justify establishing a new phylum, only the 36th in the animal kingdom.
NOAH ADAMS, Host: If the following information didn't appear in the
pages of a science journal you would swear we were making this up.
In tomorrow's edition of the journal Nature, two Danish zoologists
report they found a microscopic organization unlike anything ever
before seen on Earth. And, as far as they know, this creature only
makes its home on the lips of Norwegian lobsters. NPR's Joe Palca
