Max Castro, a Cuban exile himself, doesn't believe that tough sanctions
against Cuba will help to get Fidel Castro out of power. He says the
lack of international support will cause U.S. policy to fail too.
LINDA WERTHEIMER, Host: Joining us by telephone from his office in
Florida is Max Castro of the University of Miami's North-South Center.
He came to the United States from Cuba when he was 10. The last
time he traveled back to Cuba was last year. He says that tightening
sanctions right now is not the solution to getting Fidel Castro out
of power.
