, the latest in his series of mystery novels set in the real town
of New Iberia, Louisiana.
ALEX CHADWICK, Host: Southerners like to say that not only is the
past not dead, it isn't even past, a theme that runs through the mystery
novels of author James Lee Burke. Mr. Burke has written a crime series
featuring Detective Dave Robecheaux [sp], a Cajun cop who works for
the New Iberia Police Department. The latest in the series is called
Burning Angel.
