The Waterford School was started in 1867 by the Quaker community as
a school for black children. Although it was closed in 1957, students
still come to the school to spend a day as a 19th Century student.
JACKI LYDEN, Host: For a different kind of education travel to Waterford,
Virginia, an 18th Century village near Leesburg, hidden from the
modern world by the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
