LINDA WERTHEIMER, Host: Los Angeles commentator Karen Grigsby Bates
has spent the last two days on network television discussing the O.J.
Simpson verdict, and she is growing weary of the whole affair.
KAREN GRIGSBY BATES, Commentator: Yesterday, after I finished my
stint at Camp O.J., my driver, a nice man named Phillip, took me home
and mused about the significance of the verdict. `Well,' he sighed,
in his clipped, British accent, `It's a sad day for American justice.'
