In Louisville, Kentucky this weekend, Farm Aid will give a 10th anniversary concert. Willie Nelson says it's not a celebration and he wishes the first concert hadn't been necessary.

SCOTT SIMON: Ten years ago, country music legend Willie Nelson gathered a bushel of stars together in Champagne, Illinois, and Farm Aid was born.

Mr. Nelson didn't think back then that his effort to help small farmers survive would itself survive 10 years later or that Farm Aid would evolve from a concert into a complete charity organization.
