Alex Chadwick's visit to the Gateway Arch in St. Louis five years ago,
caused him to realize his fear of heights. He confesses his job can
send him to war without complaint, but the arch is another story.
ROBERT SIEGEL, Host: The arch is a remarkable sight, but few people
have seen or experienced it as our Alex Chadwick did a few years ago.
ALEX CHADWICK, Reporter: I'll tell you that when the arch was new,
I thought St. Louis looked like an ordinary guy wearing the hat of
a boulevardier - that was in pictures. I never saw the arch in person
until five years ago and by then it seemed right for where it was
