FBI director Louis Freeh will be the final witness today in Senate
hearings on the shootout at Ruby Ridge, Idaho, in 1992. This will
be the first time that Freeh has answered questions publicly.
BOB EDWARDS, Host: FBI director Louis Freeh testifies today as the
final witness in what is billed as `This phase of a Senate Judiciary
Subcommittee hearing on the events at Ruby Ridge, Idaho.' It was
at Ruby Ridge in August of 1992 that a U.S. marshal was killed while
trying to arrest a white separatist named Randy Weaver on weapons
