Scott Simon talks with singer-songwriter John Prine about his life,
career and new album, ``Lost Dogs and Mixed Blessings,'' which critics
say should be a commercial success, though Prine already has a Grammy.
SCOTT SIMON, Host: John Prine used to be a mailman in Chicago, and
there can be something about his songs, even 25 years later, that
remind you of a man stopping off to leave a message.
